Maybe a little over dramatic..

As Jeremy is two now, I have been wanting to explain to him about God, and Jesus....
because our faith is the center of our lives and is very important to our family,
but how to explain to a two year old...who is only learning to talk...

"Look mom" (squeals) I dance!"

"I fight you."

"nice" (said while patting my chest....I think I nursed to long...)

"NO!" and "I want it....." punctuated by heart rending sobs...

I did find this Bible at our local Christian Bookstore
and it is great...
the stories are simple
and I even found some coloring pages on the web
http://www.coloring.ws/creation.htm
to help explain each story a little easier...
BUT

I had to laugh at the inscription on the back...

"Next year may be too late."

Wow!....Really? He's only two!
That might be a little over dramatic...

Tummy Time - Starring Gracie...

We haven't done much in the way of tummy time with Gracie...
We are afraid that Jeremy will smush her like a bug.
(yes...smush is a word...at least for today)
I managed to do this after the boy had gone to bed...
and she is so freakin cute that I had to video tape her,
cause you know...there isn't enough media of this little pampered princess already!!!

Looking at the sky on Friday...or also known as Through my Eyes Friday....

ok... so first an apology...I was having a blond moment and posted my link on Looking at the Sky on Friday.....when I meant to actually post on Through my eyes...
So I posted a link to both of them as an apology....LOL!
Click on either badge....and you can visit them.
(at least the picture fit both...sigh....)

Yes.
You can laugh at my exspense..
I know you can.
C'mon....
You know you want too...

Like you have never been there.......

Not very exciting is it.....pea soup sky.
Makes me feel a little like hanging out in my pjs all day
with a warm blanky and a good book or a movie....

Homemade Ice Cream

Since I have a toddler now, I am finding I have to be "creative" in how I entertain...Has anyone tried this? I have heard it is good....

Homemade Ice Cream: "Homemade Ice Cream

Here is a quick recipe to keep the kids busy and provide them a delicious treat!

1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup half and half
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 sandwich size Ziploc bags
1 one gallon size Ziploc bag
2 cups ice
1 tablespoon coarse salt

1. Put one small Ziploc bag inside the other then add the milk, half and half, sugar, and vanilla extract to the inside bag.

2. Remove excess air & seal both bags.

3. Add the ice and salt to larger bag and place smaller bag inside. Seal firmly.

4. Now it's time for the kids to shake, rattle & roll the baggie. Ice cream will be ready to eat in 5-10 minutes."

Random Procrastionation...my Super Power...

Ok, this is going to seem a little odd...but I never did get around to posting any of Brandy's grad pictures...so for those of you in my family who have been waiting to see some...I will post them randomly in the next couple of weeks...
and for the rest of you who follow our blog...please forgive me for my random procrastionation.
It is my super power...LOL!

I procrastinate at all sorts of things...
cleaning my house...
bills
scrap booking..(I have been trying to scrapbook my wedding for years..I think I have done ten pages..
Reading good books...
bills..(oh..said that already....)

changing diapers...My daughter is still sitting in the one I put her in at birth...(Joking people...relax....)

What kind of things do you procrastinate at??
