Jeremy's first Skate...

 

 All winter we have been trying to find the time/ energy to take Jeremy skating...

Part of the problem is that neither Kendal or I are really winter people..

but for the sake of the kids we are trying to change that.

With our older girls, we didn't do as much of this kind of thing

as we would have liked, 

and it is probably healthier for us too.

That all being said...

This winter, it was either too cold for little bodies

or we were sick...or busy...

so unfortunatly this is the first chance we have had to get out..

  

  

 This is a pretty neat skating area though...

It is in down town Victoria...(Victoria Park)

and they have a warming shed...

  

 Although Jeremy couldn't really skate, 

and had a hard time standing...

He still told us in his favorite phrase..that

"This is gonna be great Mom!"

We only used this stand for a while,,

It actually ended up being easier for us to walk and pull Jeremy 

between the two of us...

  

Poor little guy was pretty cold though...

We were all fighting off a virus...

 

Gracie had fun too, although she can't skate, 

and seemed a little confused as to why 

we were walking around and around in circles pulling Jeremy...LOL!

I guess the cops don't JUST hang out in donut shops....
