This is the boys watching Sesame Street....believe it or not.....Actually....Jeremy is probably watching Talon, but Talon loves Sesame Street and watches it every morning until Elmo's world is over...It is my few minutes of respite time.....
However, this morning it didn't last for long....Talon has bronchitis, and has been generally miserable now for over a month. He has been on antibiotics, and they didn't even really seen to work.....so later this week, he will go back to the docs....
(Now I suggest if you really want some fun....that you try dragging a 6 week old and a four month old to the doctors by yourself....I highly recommend it....
So for now, he is sitting on my lap trying to decide if it is more fun to type, or yell at me.....
By lunch time yesterday I actually thought I was going to lose it....
Both babies screamed TOGETHER in concert from about 3am until 1 pm....
Fortunately Bree had the afternoon off, and as she was less insane then me by then, kindly took Talon to her room and played with him for a while.
Today Talon is still miserable, but fortunately Jeremy is

This is probably more brutal than having twins born at the same time eh? Either way it's hard work but twins have kind of "bonded" for 9 months and because they are the same age they might be a tiny bit easier? What I'm trying to say (I think) is that after you've given birth, it might be easier to settle in with two newborns rather than a three month old and a newborn???? Does that make any sense at all? I don't envy you anyways!
Thank GOD for Seasame Street. People tell me that you shouldn't let your children watch the program because they might think that playing in the streets is OK. Perhaps they should rename the show to Seasame Park. What do you think? Oh never mind...your brain is probably fried due to lack of sleep. Enjoy the boys because they grow up so fast.
Actually.... I think the show has been renamed for that very reason! Seasame Place maybe??? Old re-runs are still Sesame Street but I am pretty sure about the new name thing! And Cookie Monster has to say that "Cookies are a sometimes food" due to the big child obesity issue - they are trying to encourage kids to be healthy etc! Ah - what's the world coming to?! Issues, issues, issues...
