Super mom..

Oh Yeah...
WHO'S  the Super mom...
Me...that's who...
(Doing the Super mom dance)

So...Why am I bragging?
This is me yesterday..

Took my kids to library time
(against my better judgement...because of our schedule..)

My washer had broke, so after that, we bought a washer
Just a basic one from Maytag this time...Englis...
Hope it works better then my front loader from Kenmore ever did...
I have only had it four years, and repaired it three times...
Anyways, I bought it and arranged for delivery...

Went for lunch with my husband...

Came home, cleaned the living room...
(To accomodate the new couches...Which were being delivered that afternoon..)

This is the couch....Super comfy...
We had our other couches for 14 years, so I guess we were due...

Then had to take my boy to his first ever Soccer game..
Which ended up being frustrating,
because someone had lost our e-mail...but finally called us..
Told us our game was Thursday at the park..
So we went, but he was on NONE of the lists...

There were four coaches...
and the first one told me I was at the wrong park..
So I went to leave,
Carrying a very very heavy 18 month old..
(Who by the way was really sick)
and spilled my entire cup of coffee on myself...
I was almost to my car, when a parent told me that the park I was
being sent to, wasn't right either...
So back I went..

Second coach told me to come back on Tuesday night...
Third coach was far more helpful, and told me Jeremy could just play with their team for the night
and the fourth coach was my saviour..
He not only let Jeremy play,
but told me he would find out what was going on...

He was sooooo great with Jeremy...
like Kendal or I would have been,
and gave him a little extra attention...
(especially after poor Jeremy came back to me in tears and heart break
because the other team came and took away the ball from him...)
He brought him back and explained, and let him have the next kick...
I so appreciated this guy...I hope we can just stay on his team...

I should mention that Jeremy now calls himself

Jeremy the soccer boy Jones...

but this is also the same boy who told me yesterday
that "Monkey's can't drive mom... but them don't know they can't drive!"

By the time I got Gracie home, she had a really high fever,
and I still had to clean 50 boxes out of the laundry room so that
I could make room for them to deliver the washing machine this morning...
I finally fell asleep sitting up on my rocking new couch...

See?
Super mom...

Tell me about your most recent Super mom day...

I'll tell you about my last super mom day. I went to pick up my baby boy, Kendal, from work at 11 pm (in my house coat) and talked till nearly midnight. Hard on old age super moms!!! Jeremy's soccer pics are great!

Oh, I have been there...looking back I wonder how I did it as at one time we had kids in college sports, HS sports/events, Middle School sports/events and elementary events--ALL at the same time! Now it hasn't really slowed down much as we are still in the midst of "on the go" things.

I LOVED the monkey comment--lol!

We went to a dance recital last night and one of the teacher's 4 year old son was sitting in front of us--When they brought the teachers on stage to introduce them, I heard the little boy say to his Dad, " I think Mom is going to be the winner:" Had to laugh at that--seems as tho even at that age everything is a competition:)
