Back after a break...

Well... I am back...
sort of...
Sorry for the interuption for
those who are regular readers...
but I have had some things going on recently
which I may chose to share in a while..
but right now, I am just not ready..

However...
I do have some pictures of a cute little boy
at Calaway Park
playing in the ball pit...
and riding another ride...

Nice kids ride? I don't think so...

It looks like a nice easy going kids ride. Until you get in and it starts spinning.
The cab part starts spinning and going up and down, and the whole thing was rotating.
I started to feel dizzy and queasy, so I closed my eyes.
That's when I realized Jeremy had gotten REAL quiet.
I looked across at him and he was turning a weird shade of green.
His eyes were going back and forth.
I realized I was about to get puked on.
I grabbed his shoulders, and said, "Close your eyes, right now."
I kept repeating that phrase until the ride was done.
He listened.
Somehow we made it. No vomit. Whew.

Funny thing is later we went on the strawberry ride, which has a very similar motion. You can control the spinning on the strawberry ride. At first I wasn't letting it spin much, but Jeremy seemed bored, so I started spinning it a little. By the end of it we were spinning it as fast as we could. Jeremy was flying all over the place. It was a blast! And no nausea...

Calaway Park cont...

Jeremy LOVED the train ride...
He made us put him on it FIVE times...

Poor Gracie...
She wants to go on the rides too,
but she is just too small...
Look at the seriously sad little eyes....

Happy at last...
Gracie gets to go on a ride, and loves it...
She loved it so much we took her on twice...

Day 3- Calaway Park...

In front of the candy store at Calaway Park...

Daddy and Jeremy on a ride...
Mommy didn't take many...they make mommy sick...LOL!

I was concerned that Jeremy would be afraid..
I needn't have worried...

Jeremy's first ride ever all by himself..
He had a blast.
We had to tear him off for the next ride...

Small baby...Big bed...

The Calgary Tower.

Pretty exspensive...but worth it.
Apparently you get a better deal if you eat in the restaurant

I know it is probably perfectly safe,
but I couldn't get it out of my head..
that there was only a thin piece of glass between me...
and my car way down below...

That little white car by the little yellow car..
is mine.

It really freaked me out to see Jeremy
on the glass...
I almost wouldn't let him go...

He wasn't scared..
couldn't have cared less...

Yeah...pretty funny there Kendal....

Without a word of a lie...it took me TEN MINUTES
to back up and go sit here...
Kendal took video of it..he thought it was so funny...
Again? Real funny hun....

I wasn't brave enough to put Gracie on the glass...
