The Hair!

7.30 am comes early to a bride who is eager to get married...

but they were all there on time! 

Somehow I managed to beat them to the punch...

and SURPRISE! 

Pictures before the big day has even started... 

They went to Rumors
The hair dressers were great..and very efficient....

Only finished part of the hair..
and she already looks great!

The hair dressers name is Brooke...
and she did an AMAZING job!

WELL! That was a pretty busy weekend.... Unbelievable actually....

I just shot my first professionally paid wedding...

I have done many pictures as "favors"

but it is so different to be "the" photographer...

 It was SO much fun....and SO much work....LOL!

Also...Kendal was doing the DJing for them...

which meant we both had full time jobs...

The bride and groom are actually friends of ours,

We knew Carly first...

We met her through another friend of ours

when they roomed together...

We have had lots of fun together...

Games nights...

building gingerbread...

food....

Games nights....

oh...did I say that?

Carly is great with kids...

and they like her too...

for example...

My son is in love with her...

In his words when he saw a picture of her on the computer yesterday....

"I Love them...."

Kendal, says...  "You love them?"

Jeremy, ".....Well.....no... I love her"

Kendal, "You don't love Matt?"

Jeremy , "No...I just love her...."

(Look at her...do you really blame the boy?)

It's ok Matt...Kendal and I like you...LOL

I know you guys are going to do great...

There is NO WAY.. the pics could do justice to how beautiful Carly looked....

Congrats guys...we love you...

Matt...you are one lucky dude....

So...as if that wasn't enough...

We had a good friend who happened to be in Regina

with her husband this weekend as well...

We were great friends with her when we lived in Williams Lake,

and so it was really great to be able to see her and her little babe,

and meet her husband...

My ML and FL (Who were her pastors)

and Kendal were able to see her on Sat. for breakfast...

I was working, but we met them yesterday

at our favorite ice cream store.

It was awesome....
