Mostly Feeling Better.

Well, now I am on my second round of antibiotics...this time Amoxcillian...and this time it seems to be working. Reminder to self....stay away from the sulpher drugs. They never make me feel good, and don't seem to work well on me anyways....My ears are mostly feeling better, but I still have some mild ringing in my left ear. I am supposed to go and get hearing tests done when I am done my antibiotics.
I did try to go for a walk today...first time in three weeks, but I am not so healthy as all that yet apparently, because it wiped me out, and when I got home, I went to sleep with Jeremy for two hours. I don't suppose that it helped that i had active dreams all last night...I was flying a by plane! It was sure fun though....
It was excessivly hot here again today...Plus thirty. I am thanking God for my air conditioning..which was nice until the power went off tonight for an hour and a half. Fortunately Jeremy went to sleep in his swing...so I sat and read my book by flashlight.

Now onto more important things.....

More Ear Problems....

Just when I think that my ears are clearing up, I end up with more problems....This has been going on for over a month now....I was sick for ten days, and couldn't get off the couch, and then it started getting better....but my ears have never quit being plugged. At least most of the dizziness was gone though, then yesterday, I was at my friend Brenda's house, and all of a sudden for no reason at all, I got a migraine, and then I got really dizzy, and my right eye started having bizarre focusing problems...I barely made it home, and had to go to sleep for three hours....When I got up, it seems to be better, but my left ear is still ringing and full. My doctor is on holidays until the 12th of August, but when she comes back I will have to go and find out what is going on....I hope it doesn't last till then though...This started ten years ago in Williams Lake, but over the years has become progressivly better. This is my first attack in a year, but definately the worst one I have had in a really long time. The doctors never seem to know what to do with it....

Well, it looks like all your prayers worked....we will probably be getting the house on the north end that we have been after....It is closer to Kendal's job, my church, and most of the other stuff we need including the schools the girls want to go to. Brandy wants to go to Thom for her last year, and Bree wants to go to Winston Knoll. I don't find out for sure till the end of August, but it is looking good. It means that September will be a rough month though, with the girls going to two different schools, and us trying to move while Kendal works two jobs, and I look after Jeremy.

Today I am looking after Jeremy and Mercy Buckets...right now they are watching Sesame street together....It is very cute....

Jeremy plays piano!

This is Jeremy's favorite toy right now. He loves music! I have to sit with him at least once a day while he plays on his little piano.....

So here I am again....I have been down and out for the past 10 days unable to get off of the couch for the most part because of a raging sinus and ear infection.....Every time I got up, my head would spin...Lots of fun when I am trying to look after Jeremy. Fortunately, he is a good baby, and so most of the time, he was pretty easy to look after....
Kind of messed up our schedule with him though....the result being, that he has been trying to take advantage of the fact I have been sick to try and nurse ALL night....crying if he didn't get his way...meaning that I was up most of the night...not what I needed at that point.
Kendal and I decided yesterday, that since I am mostly up now, that we are going to be agressive about getting him back to schedule, and so meany that I am, at eleven last night, Jeremy was put in his crib...where he actually slept till 2 am. He cried 2 xs during the night....which I ignored...and mostly slept without much fuss! YAAA! However, I still didn't sleep much because I kept checking on him to make sure he was ok....but I am sure that it will get better.
As far as my ear infection gos, I am going to have to go to a specialist. I have ringing and hearing loss in my left ear, and even after an agressive round of antibiotics I still have infection left. I am going back to the doctors on Monday, but my doc is away on holidays, so I will have to wait till she comes back for a reference....

Sorry...

There have been no new posts this week...I have had a really nasty flue which was making me incredibly dizzy...great fun to try and take care of baby when I couldn't even move my head....I was really wishing that every one wasn't working.....Hopefully I am at the end of it now....

Jeremy makes a mess!

Jeremy is eating solids now...sort of. When I mean sort of...I mean that he only eats when he feels like it....He prefers to nurse, so he has to be in a really good mood to actually touch it...and then he wants to feed himself...which gets really messy. I have taken to giving him his own spoon to play with just so that I can actually feed him with the other one. So far he is only eating simple grain cereals (rice, barley, and oatmeal) and peas. He will only take about a teaspoon of whatever food it is...and half of the time won't finish that...He would much rather smear the food on his highchair or face...or me. Whatever happens to be closest....LOL!

Canada Day!

Ok...this is really way past for this post, but Jeremy is a lot more mobile now, and not letting me near my computer! LOL!

As usual we went to the celebrations at Wascana Park and hung out with Scott and Cori for the afternoon...It was fun...but man, was it ever hot out. At about 5 pm, we went home for a while, and came back at 8.30 for the fireworks at 10.30 (no kidding - that is how busy it gets...
