Jeremy's first ice cream cone

Tonight we took Jeremy to Dessart for his first cone (on his own)....


Kind of funny to wear a shirt that says, "eat your peas and carrots" while eating an ice cream cone.

... and then the sugar kicked in:

Griffiths Petting Farm - Lumsden

The week after the arts festival we decided to bring Jeremy out to the petting zoo in Lumsden. Jeremy had lots of fun petting all the animals...but I have to say that Kendal and I weren't too impressed with the place....

First of all, it is pretty run down...as in the barns are in DESPERATE need of repair. The animals weren't really kept clean...some of the cages looked as though they hadn't been scooped in a month or more. Some animals had the runs, and their behinds were dirty, others had eyes in need of being taken care of.....

Jeremy did have fun anyways and we took some cool pictures, but I am really glad that we didn't go out on a hotter day. I forgot how hot it can get in an open feild....especially prego...

Anything starting with the letter O.....How about....
ONE TRACK MIND!!
(As in Jeremy watching Sesame st..and not moving the entire hour....)

Imprisoned in an ice cream shop....I can think of worse things...
Especially today...
It is +33 (or it will be)
and I am trapped in a house with no air conditioning....
and a one year old who doesn't handle the heat much better
then his six month pregnant
mommy....
Should be a real fun day....
