Carla's House of Horrors

(Or not so Wordless Wednesday!)

Imagine, y
ou're walking through the enchanted candy forest toward, oh let's say... Candy Mountain. You stop at Timmys for some Timbits, and then Mcds for a burger. In the parking lot you are almost run over by a crazy man driving a garbage/tow truck. You head for the hills. You are walking through the licorice trees and around the marshmallow rocks. There is a light dusting of icing sugar snow. Everywhere you look you see gummy bear prints in the snow, but no gummy bears. In the distance you see blue gummy whales swimming in the ocean of pepsi. As the sun begins to set you find it getting colder. Soon you begin looking for shelter. You smell the sweet scent of cotton candy and caramel apples. You walk toward the smell and come upon a small cabin. The walls are made of graham crackers. The Christmas ornaments are made out of smarties and skittles. You notice the ground around the door littered with cigarette butts, looks like Popeye brand. You approach the door, it is made of white chocolate framed with a purple twizzler. By now you're cold and you really need a bathroom(you should NOT eat Mcds). You knock softly on the door.... No answer. You knock harder... No answer. Strange since there is smoke coming out of the lollipop chimney.

Maybe the residents are around back, you think. As you circle the cabin, on the peanut brittle side walk, you notice an axe and a chainsaw leaning against the wall. Probably for cutting fire wood, you think. You step around the green jujube shrubs, and the sight in front of you makes you toss your chocolate chip cookies.
Hanging on the back wall of this little shop of horrors is the remains of no less than ten rare endangered gummy bears. The bear hides are stripped and their blood is drained into the snow under them. You see the large sign selling the bear skin rugs for a mere $5.
Suddenly you know you must escape. You turn to run, too late...

Everything goes dark as a bag is pulled over your head. Your assailant kicks you right in the pop rocks. You feel dozens of creepy hands all over your body and you fell a needle slip into your arm. As you drift into unconsciousness you hear chanting that sounds like "oompa loompa."

You wake. You feel nothing but cold. You open your eyes to see a shower curtain. You are in a bathtub. The bathtub is filled with ice cream, looks like banana fudge. You try to stand and feel a sharp pain in your side. As you touch your side you feel crude stitches. With horror you realize the awful truth, and scream,
"They took my freakin’ kidney!"

Pictures that make me Giggle!

These pictures amuse me....

LOL!...This is a Homer & Bart Simpson moment brought to you by.....

I laughed when I saw this pic...Looks like Kendal is choking the poor kid.

Actually he was burping her...
That is my story and I am sticking to it.

i
Awww....Brotherly love....but man..they both look like crap here! scarred and pale...Wow.

Jeremy was introducing Autumn to Baby Einstein videos- which he loves...he was actually chatting up a storm. It was quite funny....

Now for my serious moment.
Sometimes people just renew my faith in the kindness of others. The other day, I had a really rough day....REALLY rough. I am not going to say why, because too many people I love here in Regina would read this and know...and I don't want to gossip...BUT trust me, I cried for about four hours..(which isn't really something I do) and then got a migraine...interpretation....rough day.
Then yesterday...a friend of mine called...and says...
"I have a surprise for you."
Me "Oh?" What is it??
Her "Well, I guess it wouldn't be much of a surprise if I told you now would it..."
Me "DUH..." I guess not...

The surprise was that she was going to bring her pre teen boys over to shovel my driveway for me because she knew how difficult it was for me to get to it with two small babies, and Kendal working so much....
As it happened, Kendal had managed to get to it, so it never happened, but I was touched at the thought....
It is nice to know that there are some people out there who like to do "RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS"
So despite the fact it never happened...thankyou anyways. It still meant something.....
Interpretation:
If you ever get the urge to do something nice for someone....
Just do it, cause you never know what kind of day they are having,
and what kind of difference you can make..

Heads or Tails!

Todays weekly meme is Heads "Fill"...or Tails..."Phil". I chose HEADS...so.....

here is Jeremy "filling" his little mouth full of smarties....

and my new daughter Autumn. That soother is SO big...it "FILLS" her entire little head...

Who will take this challenge?

More Grahm Wafer Creations....

Here are some more of our wonderful grahm wafer creations...and just to prove the "maturity level" of our Friday night group...I will have my husband post the stories behind some of these lovely creations later this evening....LOL! He tells a story better then I do... Just as a teaser though....
it has something to do with animal rights...(check out the teddy bears in the house below) and like all good stories involves drama, and violence ...) stay tuned...

This weekend we were also lucky enough to go to the Christmas musical "Sparkling Water" in Caronport because Kendals parents gave us some tickets! The play was set in a wild frontier town in the Yukon in the year eighteen-ninety-four. It was pretty good. Everyone is always talking about their presentations, and we have lived here 7 years now and never seen one, so it was nice to finally go. We may try to go again next year too! Just for the info of anyone who wants to see next years presentation....
It is Dec 4 to 6.
The weather however was not so good. It snowed and stormed all the way out there, and I was nervous because we had baby Autumn with us, and I didn't want to get trapped on the side of the road... Coming back was better though...we just took it slow.

It was nice to do something Christmas....
This year is going to be really weird for us, because for the first time ever...
I will have NONE of my older girls at home for Christmas.
I am very sad about it. It will be pretty quiet.
Krystal will be in Winnipeg with her family...
Brandy will be in Thailand.....
and Breanne will be in Edmonton.
It will just be Kendal and I and the little kids.....

My daughter Breanne would be annoyed...she thinks only girl clothes should go on the girl.

Brandy in Thailand...

As most of you probably know... my 18 year old Brandy has gone to Thailand for six weeks on a missions trip. We have been very excited about this, because since she was two years old, Brandy has told me she was going to go to other nations and tell people about God...although I admit to moments of doubt when we had some teenage difficulties with her the last couple of years...
However, God is good, and she is in Thailand, where she is supposed to be for about six weeks...
We have had some concerns though...The same day that she arrived in Thailand, we heard on Canada AM that there were some serious demonstrations going on and people were wanting to overthrow the Thai Prime Minister. Apparently there are several hundred people who are trapped in Thailand, and fifty or so people have been hurt in demonstrations. The major airports where Brandy is have been shut down, and they weren't letting people out of the airports. There was news that the military was planning on closing in. We were a little concerned...obviously...but last night we heard from Brandy, and all is well. She was actually not all that aware of what was going on there, and didn't realize it had become somewhat serious! They were flown in to a military airport, and actually never came near the violence, and they are staying at a slum area, where they are ministering...so she is having a blast so far..and enjoying her trip....That is all the information we have for the moment..
but we are grateful to know she is ok, and all is well...

Have fun my girl and honor the Lord...
