I came home tonight after a rather stressful week...
to find that I had received the Sisterhood award from
Sherrie over at Boogers, Screams, Headaches and Dreams
Go over and visit her after...
She is a doll...
I was pleased to receive the award,
as I actually haven't received an award
in a really long time..and the last time I did,
I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do with them..LOL!

Jeremy has been talking since he was quite young...but recently he has started to say some funny stuff...
Gotta love it when they do that.
Yesterday was no exception...

The conversation went as follows....

Me: "Jeremy don't run at the baby-You are going to hurt her....
"Jeremy-stop running at the baby....."
Jeremy I told you not to run at the baby...."
Jeremy ... now you have hurt her..say sorry"
Jeremy, I AM going to spank you if you do that one more time."

At this point Jeremy walks up to me...Puts his little hand over my mouth and says

"Mom...don't spank your kid."

I burst out laughing....Jeremy never did get a spank....

Heads or Tails...

This weeks Heads or Tails was Tails...Springtime Memory...

and I have to say..that since my memory is like a sieve...
I could only think of one...

When I was five or six...I used to live in Prince Rupert, BC
and there was an abundance of plant life there...
Mostly cause it never stopped raining....
and I still remember four plants that I love to this day...



1) Fiddle Head ferns

Because I was so curious about them,
I also found out enough about them at six
to know that you can eat them..
(although I have never tried)
and they grow in very humid locations

2) Forget me Nots




I know some people think of these as weeds,
but to this day they are still one of
my favorite flowers

3) bleeding Hearts

I still love them to this day
and I planted them in my garden last summer.

4) Daffodils

Self explanitory...Who doesn't love them...

Last of the Season...

Bree and Jeremy

Jeremy hasn't done much sledding this winter...
Grandma Jones bought him a sled a few weeks back
and so we have taken him a couple of times...
but I can't really go, cause of Gracie..
and the hill is getting as hard as rock now
and there are lots of bare patches...
Kendal and Bree took him though...
He had a blast till he got cold
and then he went back to the car
until he realized there was no more sledding..
and then he really cried.

That kid is tough as nails...

This is Jeremy's new shirt....He LOVES spiderman.....
I LOVE E-bay...
I got his shirt for 2 dollars...

Sorry...this is all the energy I've got for a post today...but if you want a truly funny post...

Gracie..

It has been a week or so since I posted pics of the little diva...
So here you go...
She is doing VERY well..thank you very much...
She is rolling over now...usually in really awkward places...
She loves her toys...and her excersaucer, but not so much the jumper yet.
She is full of all kinds of smiles..and likes to play flirty games with daddy...
Tummy time is still not a favorite...she just doesn't like it.
She is trying to grab food off of my plate though, and although we have taken herculine efforts to prevent her from drinking from the bottle..she is still insisting on two a day...
We do think she is getting enough milk from me though, we just think she likes the bottle.

Her and her big brother are almost pathetic in their love for each other...

He is always hugging and kissing her, and holding her hand, and she in turn stares at him in wonder, and smiles for him even when no one else is worthy of a smile.
She loves her cartoons...
Specifically Jelly telly on the internet
She laughs and laughs.....
(By the way..I highly recomend it...it is made by the creators of Veggie Tales...)
In other words...she is doing wonderfully.
Next week she gos in for her shots, and we will have her weighed then...
However, unlike Jeremy...I am doubting her weight will be an issue.
She is already wearing some 6 month clothes...
