What do you do after Swim Lessons?

Why...Go eat Lots of food of course...

We went to Izzy Magoos for breakfast...
We had never been there before,
and it was close to the swim pool..

It was a pretty neat place..
and man...
do they EVER give you a lot of food...
We could have shared one plate EASILY between two adults.

These pancakes are as big as Jeremy's head..

Grandma couldn't eat them all....

This was my plate, and I couldn't eat it all either...

The decor was pretty cool...

I love Betty Boop...She is too cute....

Kendal's hero...

They even give you Dubble Bubble...
I haven't seen that gum in years...

First swim lessons...

Jeremy officially passed his first ever set of swim lessons.
He was in turtles, and will progress to ducks when he turns three....
He attacked his classes with glee...
Jumping in the water whether Kendal was there or not,
playing all the games,
the only thing he wouldn't do is put his head in the water...
We might put him in it again in the fall
just for fun, after Gracie does Starfish...

TAILS - "Once upon a time"

So...once upon a time....
My family ACTUALLY took a holiday
It was over 7 years ago...
(You can tell by how young my kids were)
How is that for pathetic...
We went to Victoria
and hung out at all the cool touristy spots...
(Is touristy a word??)

We will actually get a holiday this year,
but I don't think we will be able to afford to travel all the way to Victoria..
The ferry is horribly exspensive,
and the drive would not be fun with little people...

Through My Eyes Friday..

This is what I was looking at this morning...
Pictures of my wonderful grandson, and grand daughter
that my oldest daughter posted on Facebook.
They are beautiful pictures,
but they also make me sad,
because although they live three blocks away from me
I never see them.
Cassidy is seven months old
and I have seen her three times since birth....
I didn't even recognize her in these pictures.
