Have you ever had one of those moments when some idiot driver
comes up behind you ..tail gates all the way...
or even better, tries to pass you as you are going 110,
and there is a truck in the other lane?
(idiot..)
and WHERE ARE THE COPS?
Where are they when you need them...

Tonight when we were coming home from the lake..
that is EXACTLY what happened...
and then we saw the police had pulled someone over...
and we were all like...

Oh yeah baby...cops got him...
....but then it wasn't him...
it was some other poor sucker...

and so we drive on...
and then...
wouldn't you know it...
there is a second speed trap right after the first..
for those suckers who thought they were past the cops..

and wouldn't you know it...
THEY GOT THE GUY.....
OH YEAH....IN YOUR FACE
(Does a little victory dance..)

Sometimes the cops are in the right place at the right time.....

oh...and my camera is officially junk now...

it has a scratched lense...REALLY BAD BAD TIMING..
no money for such luxuries at the moment....

I NEED A CAMERA......
How do I survive without my weekly quota of princess and little man pictures...

This was the meal we had at the Laos Pavillion..
Unfortunately, I can't tell you what the soup was...
I forgot to ask...(I had my hands full of little people)
but it was good, and quite spicy..

Philippine Pavillion

Our favorite part of Mosaic is trying out foods we haven't had before
This is what we had for dinner at the Philipino Pavillion...
It was SOOOO good...
The white round things are Siopao..
They are a sweet bun, with pork or chicken inside..
We also had Inihaw na baboy (pork barbeque
Pancit
egg rolls
and Kanin (sticky rice)

We tried the custard cake for dessert..it was also really good.

Afterwards we watched a fashion show
where the ladies..
(and one gentleman)
showed off some traditional costumes.

This was the grand finale...
a wedding dress..

I really wish the lighting had been better,
because these pictures really don't do justice to the outfits..

Time gos by so fast...

I can't believe time is flying by like it is...
It seems like just yesterday we made the decision to have Jeremy,
and he is already two and his sister is 7 months...
WOW!

Jeremy is so grown up now...
He no longer looks like a baby,
although he is small for his age...

He says hilarious stuff...
he has a great sense of humor...
He LOVES space rockets.
Everything is a space rocket...
even his puppy, and he flies them all
in the outer space of his imagination.



He says "I wuv you mommy" so much i think it is his main phrase..
I feel so blessed by this,
because I know there is a day where he won't do this so much anymore.
We read a story every night, and when we are done..

he YELLS "BIBLE mommy...BIBLE...
and he always asks for amen. (prayer.)
We pray an easy prayer that he can say right now.
"God bless Mommy and Daddy,
Gracie
Brandy, Bree, Krystal and Steve,
Talon and Cassidy,
and Grandma and Grandpas..
help me be a good boy,
give me good dreams,
Put angels around my bed...
Amen."


He loves chicken noodle soup, and fresh buns...and cheese...
He will nap, but only if I lay down with him till he falls asleep...
He LOVES the beach...LOVES it..
He is tough for such a little guy..
Never cries when he falls down...
If he cries..you KNOW there is a problem..
He is very shy....
He LOVES his little sister...
to the point of suffocation...
Good thing she reciprocates...LOL
It is nothing to find them holding hands,
or hugging..
or Jeremy giving her sloppy little boy kisses...
He is a great kid...I couldn't have asked for a better son.

Gracie is such a wonderful blessing..
She reminds me oddly of all my other children...
She is super laid back like Brandy was...
(Fortunately she isn't chewing on her bed yet...)
She looks a lot like Bree did,
except of course she is blonde and blue eyed,
and like Bree she has a way of wiggling past the defenses of people..
even those who don't like kids...
and she has Krystal's psycho sense of humor...
and she is a cuddler like her brother....
but she is also profoundly herself.
She makes me smile just to look at her..
and we catch ourselves just staring at her for ages..
She is determined. Curious.
She wouldn't nurse properly, cause there was just
too much to see and do.
Even bottle feeding her is a royal pain..LOL!
She can't even crawl yet,



but she is constantly wiggling off my lap to get to
some point of interest.
She loves her show..Super Why...
It must be a girl thing.
She likes Princess Pea...
She laughs easily....

Wow! How was I ever blessed again with two such great kids!
Time is going by too fast...
