Kids and Grand kids...
Today instead of a road trip we stayed home
and hung out in the back yard with our kids and grand kids.
A little bit of history for those of you who don't know...
My grandson and son are three months apart,
and my daughter and grand daughter are six weeks apart!
They belong to my oldest daughter Krystal.
It was 31 degrees, so I think the kids all welcomed the diversion
of water play in the slide pool...

What room of the House are you?
I have nothing better to do with my life today, then......................
You guessed it...
Figure out..which room of the house I am!
Try the quiz...Try it. You know you wanna....
I figured I was going to be the bathroom,
but lucky me I turned out to be the Dining Room...
(I think they made a mistake...)

You love entertaining friends, and you're a good host. You enjoy getting lots of people together.
You like to do interesting, unusual things. You are most likely the social director in your group of friends.
You are ambitious and driven. You want to be the best person possible.
You are a bit of a show off. You don't mind letting people know how successful you've been in life.
Now go over and visit the blog Four now...
that is where I got this intelligent quiz....LOL!

Jeremy picks up MORE girls..
My beach bum son just can't go to the beach without picking up girls...
This is 4 and a half year old Zoey and her friend.
They also befriended me,
although I have to admit, I was pretty uncomfortable
that they were so friendly with me...
They didn't know me at all, and they swam out to me,
and were jumping on me in the water,
and trying to swim out far to follow me...
I was thinking...I am ok...but what about the next stranger.....
Zoey was sure a cute little independant spirit though....

Watrous
This weekend we took off to Watrous..
Didn't plan it. Just went.
(trying to get our kids ready for a long road trip this summer...)
We had heard a lot about Watrous...
It is a town based around around the healing waters
of Lake Manitou...
The lake is 91% pure water, but has a specific gravity 10% higher than regular water due to a higher concentration of dissolved salts and minerals. The added density greatly enhances buoyancy and make it impossible for people to sink - even when motionless. Unless you leave earth's atmosphere, this is one of the few places in the world where you can experience the sensation of weightlessness.
What a weird feeling to not be able to sink..
apparently it is one of the few places in the world
where the water is like this, except for the Dead Sea....
(Leaves your skin and hair feeling pretty yucky though...)
Had to shower right after.

There is also a spa there, which makes use of the lakes healing properties,
but with the kids, we didn't check that out this trip...
The town itself is pretty cool too.

If we can afford it, that is where I think we will go for our anniversary next year.
However, for this year, we just kind of drove around, hung out,
and went to the beach.

Jeremy is a little young to swim,
so he didn't really get to enjoy floating in the water...
but I did..It was pretty cool.
I tried swimming, but gave up after a while,
and just floated on my back.

Gracie is really enjoying her time at the beach now...
but I think she came back with half of it in her diaper,
and the other half in her tummy...
