The Calgary Tower.
I know it is probably perfectly safe,
but I couldn't get it out of my head..
that there was only a thin piece of glass between me...
and my car way down below...
He wasn't scared..
couldn't have cared less...

UGHHHHH
Trust me...this picture doesn't even began to do justice
to this thing I just found on my deck...
Needless to say..
It isn't there anymore....

Calgary Zoo Botanical Gardens...
Kendal has gotten into the habit
of posing with the art sculptures at the different places we go...
I am SO GLAD (Insert sarcasm here)
to see that my hubby is teaching my son
some art appreciation....
You should have seen the odd looks we were getting...
The gardens are really amazing....
at least Kendal can't climb on the flowers...

Day 3- BC Vacation...
For Seven years now Kendal and I have been planning to go to the
Calgary Zoo...
Well..this summer we finally did it..
and we had a blast..
I think Jeremy did too, but his favorite part didn't seem to include the animals..

But instead the ice cream and the train...
I guess we will have to go back when the kids are older...

This was the Tiger Express...
Again ...Jeremy was more interested in the birds..
then say...the elephants...
Spike is in the Guiness World Book of Records
for having the largest dental caps..
19 inches long...
The world's largest dental caps measure 50 cm (19 in) long, 13 cm (5 in) in diameter and weigh 13 kg (28 lb) each. They were fixed onto a pair of cracked tusks belonging to Spike, a resident Asian elephant, at the Calgary Zoo, Alberta, Canada during a 3 hour 30 minute operation on July 4, 2002. The stainless steel caps were designed and manufactured by the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with metal donated by Corus Steel and adhesive by 3M (all Canada).
I have created a blog strictly with pictures of the zoo...
rather then bore everyone..
If you are interested in seeing them..
